Registration consists of these three steps:

a username (customer ID) and password,
and your email address.

Once the information has been accepted and entered into our database,
a welcome message with an activation key
will be sent to the email address you provided in step 1.

After you receive this email,
you should enter the activation key into a form on our server.
In most cases you will be able to simply click on an URL contained
in the message.
Detailed instructions will be contained in the email message itself.

With the confirmation message and activation key
we want to make sure that nobody else can enter your
email address into our database without your approval
and we can also check whether your email address works.
Note that you can continue to
access our site including the customer only pages
immediately after you complete step 1,
even before the activation of your account.
Access to these pages is protected by the username and password you
specified during registration.
Before billing and software download, however,
we must have received your activation key.
The best starting place for your browsing is
your personal home page,
which becomes accessible immediately after registration.
